Managing Roles in Screenify

This guide will help you navigate the Roles section in Screenify, manage role settings, and access key features efficiently.

Accessing the Roles Section

  • Location: Navigate to the Roles section in the left sidebar.

  • Roles Grid:

    • Displays all configured roles.

    • Each tile includes the role name, hiring manager, and whether the role is active.

    • By default, only active roles are shown.

Quick Actions in the Roles Grid

The grid provides links for common actions:

  • Invite Candidates: Invite a single candidate or multiple candidates (covered in a separate guide).

  • View Candidates: See all candidates invited to a role.

  • Disable Roles: Disable roles that are no longer needed.

Candidate List for a Role

  • Metrics at the Top:

    • Total number of invited candidates.

    • Completion rate.

    • Average interview duration in minutes.

  • Candidate Status Icons:

    • Hover over icons to view detailed statuses, such as:

      • Invite expired.

      • Interview started but not completed.

      • Successfully completed interview.

  • Search Bar: Locate specific candidates by name.

Managing Role Status

  • Disable a Role:

    1. Click the disable icon and follow the prompts.

    2. Note:

      • Disabled roles cannot invite new candidates.

      • Automation triggers for the role will stop.

      • Candidates with pending invites will no longer be able to start their interviews.

  • Re-enable a Role:

    1. Click the eye icon in the search bar to view all roles.

    2. Select the enable icon for the desired role.

  • Search for Roles: Use the search bar to quickly find specific roles.

Role Details

Clicking on a role’s tile opens detailed settings divided into four sections: Overview, Interview, Automation, and Advanced.

Overview Section

  • Update the hiring manager for the role.

  • Upload, replace, or remove an intro video:

    • Intro videos provide candidates with an overview of your company, the role, and the interview process.

  • Change the interviewer’s voice.

  • Enable or disable notifications.

Advanced Section

  • Adjust invite expiry dates to set how long candidates have to complete their interviews before the invite expires.

  • Customize the invite email template and sender’s name.

  • Enable or disable interviewer interruption:

    • When enabled, the interviewer pauses and listens if the candidate starts speaking, creating a more natural conversation.

  • Disable roles directly from this tab, if necessary.
